About Tanya

I have wide experience with the English language. I received my Bachelor's degree in Marriage, Family, and Human Development where we studied language acquisition. I have learned Spanish for many years so developed language strategies that really work. I won several spelling bees as a teenager demonstrating my confidence with words as well as having some short stories published in the Chicken Soup for the Soul books.

About the lesson

I am a dedicated teacher with years of language-learning experience and have worked as a substitute in the public school system as well as teaching English to children in China. I can help with your needs whether they be basic like learning vocabulary to more specific such as medical English for the work environment. I am student-focused and want to hear what your learning goals are and plan my lessons around your specific needs while keeping the lessons fun and engaging!

I am super impressed with Tanya's ability to articulate the English language to non-native speakers. Her smarts, education, and ability to communicate with others is amazing.
