About Evelyne
With 10 years of experience teaching French at the middle and high school levels, I have helped students of all skill levels build confidence and achieve their goals. I have taught French I, French II, French III Honors, and AP French, with multiple students earning passing scores on the AP exam. I tailor each lesson to the student’s level, goals, and learning style. My approach combines conversation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and listening practice to build confidence and real-world fluency. A typical lesson includes a brief review, introduction of new concepts, guided practice, and conversational application. I also stay up to date with the evolving AP French exam requirements and help students develop the specific skills needed to succeed on the test. Multiple students I have taught have earned 4's and 5's on the AP exam, while others have left my classes speaking French fluently. I work with beginners through advanced and AP-level students, including those looking for academic support, test preparation, or greater conversational fluency.
