I believe that learning French should be a natural, engaging, and absolutely pressure-free experience.
My teaching methodology is comprehension-focused and highly adaptable to the student's specific goals.
For beginners, we build a strong, structured foundation using recognized materials like Hachette's Inspire series to introduce grammar and vocabulary step-by-step.
As you progress, my approach shifts to full immersion. We will use multimedia resources, such as press articles from TV5 Monde or RFI, short videos, and interactive games.
A core technique in all my classes is practical application through role-play
. Instead of just memorizing textbook phrases, we immediately put your vocabulary to use by simulating real-world scenarios—such as booking a restaurant, calling a dry cleaner, making a doctor's appointment, or participating in a business meeting.
To improve your accent and phonetics, we practice reading aloud, shadowing dialogues.

I know how intimidating it can be to speak a new language, so my ultimate goal is to remove the shame and fear of making mistakes, allowing you to build real confidence quickly.

Complete Beginners: We take it slow. If needed, I can use English or Portuguese to help build mutual understanding before we gradually transition to 100% French.

Exam Candidates: I provide structured preparation for official certifications, including the DELF (A1, A2, B1), FIDE, and the TCF Canada.
Children & Teens: I have extensive experience tutoring young learners (including 1-on-1 support for school homework and working with facilities like the "Kiducation" program).
For kids, lessons are highly interactive, utilizing children's books, educational videos, games, and playful exercises.
