About Kosuke

I was born and raised in Japan, where I lived until graduating from high school. After that, I moved to the United States to attend university and pursue my academic and athletic goals. I currently study and play college soccer in the U.S.

Growing up in Japan allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the Japanese language and culture. At the same time, moving to the U.S. challenged me to adapt to a completely new environment in English. Through this experience, I learned what it truly means to start from zero in a second language.

Balancing academics and college athletics has strengthened my discipline, communication skills, and ability to connect with people from different backgrounds. I am passionate about helping others feel confident and comfortable while learning Japanese.

About the lesson

I offer conversation-focused Japanese lessons for beginner to intermediate learners. My goal is to help you speak natural and practical Japanese with confidence.
I am a native Japanese speaker currently studying and playing college soccer in the United States. Living and competing in an English-speaking environment has given me a deep understanding of the challenges of learning and using a second language.
Because I learned English from scratch, I truly understand the struggles and frustrations language learners face. My lessons are patient, supportive, and tailored to your level. I create a relaxed environment where making mistakes is part of the process.
Let’s work together to build your confidence and make learning Japanese enjoyable!
