About Leonardo
I’m a native Spanish speaker, bilingual in English and Spanish, and currently a medical student in the United States. I was born in Cuba, later lived in Ecuador, and eventually moved to the U.S., so I understand firsthand what it is like to learn, adapt, and communicate across different cultures. Before medical school, I studied Behavioral Neuroscience and gained experience in medical research, clinical care, and working directly with Spanish-speaking patients as a medical scribe and interpreter.
Education has always been an important part of my development, and I genuinely enjoy breaking down difficult concepts and helping others build confidence. As a tutor, I bring patience, professionalism, and a practical approach. Whether you want to improve everyday Spanish, pronunciation, conversation, or Medical Spanish, I will adapt each lesson to your goals and help you use the language confidently in real situations.
