About Leonel

Hello! My name is Leonel. I am a native Spanish speaker originally from Argentina, now living in the United States. I hold a strong professional background with over 20 years of experience as a software developer and tech leader. This extensive career has instilled in me a deep sense of professionalism, reliability, and an analytical mindset that I now translate directly into language teaching.

As a professional, I understand that learning a new language can feel overwhelming. That is why I ground my tutoring in absolute patience, strict organization, and clear communication. Having navigated demanding professional environments for over two decades, I know how to design effective strategies, set realistic milestones, and guide students toward their goals efficiently.

Whether you are looking to master casual conversation, improve school grades, or develop high-level business Spanish for your career, you can find a dedicated, legitimate, and highly structured mentor in me. I am fully committed to providing a secure, supportive, and top-tier educational experience for every student.

About the lesson

Hi! My name is Leonel. I am a native Spanish speaker with over 20 years of professional experience in the technology sector, bringing a unique, highly structured, and analytical mindset to language learning.

Who my lessons are for:
I welcome students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced speakers, including professionals who want to master business Spanish or students needing targeted school support.
My teaching method and techniques:
I focus on practical application and natural immersion rather than boring memorization. Because of my background, I excel at breaking down complex grammatical structures into clear, logical, and easy-to-understand concepts. My approach is highly patient, encouraging, and tailored entirely to your personal goals and pace.

A typical lesson plan:

Warm-up (5-10 mins): Casual conversational practice about your day to build immediate confidence.

Core Logic (20 mins): Introducing a specific grammar rule or vocabulary theme using clear, real-world examples.

Interactive Practice (20 mins): Immersive exercises, role-playing common real-life scenarios, or analyzing practical texts.

Wrap-up & Feedback (5 mins): Reviewing key takeaways and setting clear, manageable milestones for your next session.

What sets me apart:
What truly sets me apart is the combination of my cultural background and my analytical expertise. I don't just teach you words; I teach you how the language works logically, helping you bridge the gap between thinking and speaking fluently in a supportive, stress-free environment.
