About Dayra
I am passionate about Spanish as a language so that is why I graduated as a teacher of Spanish with emphasis in humanities. I believe the culture is always hand in hand with language so in my classes I provide lots of culture and real context learning instead of just a grammar focus, which of course, is also part of the learning. I am from Colombia and have lived and taught Spanish in countries like Australia, the US and currently New Zealand. I also have visited some countries like Spain, Mexico, Ecuador, Argentina and more. Teaching, learning and traveling are my passions and I feel so lucky I can do that as a job!

I work based on YOUR own way to learn, I adjust my teaching to you and not the opposite. I have taught all ages, since birth (haha, truly). Each lesson lasts 40 minutes. We set smart goals from the beginning and start working on them. You receive authentic material to practice during the week, this keeps you active and engaged! You can text me between classes to clarify, ask questions or request extra practicing material at no extra cost!
