About Mika

Hej! I’m Mika, a native Swedish speaker and university graduate in Business and Economics from the University of Gothenburg. I specialize in helping motivated adults achieve confident, fluent Swedish through an engaging, communicative approach focused on real-life conversation. My lessons are warm, structured, and goal-oriented. From the very first class, students begin speaking Swedish in meaningful contexts, learning not just words, but how to think and interact naturally in the language. I use authentic materials, interactive dialogues, and situational role-plays that make each session dynamic and practical. What sets me apart is my international perspective and genuine dedication to my students’ progress. I understand the challenges of learning a new language as an adult, and I adapt every lesson to your pace, background, and goals. Whether you’re preparing for life in Sweden, working with Swedish colleagues, or simply discovering the beauty of the language and culture. You can expect a patient, professional, and motivating atmosphere in every lesson. An atmosphere that builds confidence and brings out your best Swedish.

About the lesson

As a native Swedish speaker and university graduate in Business and Economics, I combine linguistic precision with an engaging, communicative teaching style. My methodology focuses on practical, real-life conversation. Students start speaking Swedish from the very first lesson. Each class blends interactive dialogue, vocabulary building, pronunciation practice, and cultural context, ensuring that learners don’t just memorize words but truly understand how Swedish is used in daily and professional life.

A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up in Swedish, followed by a focused theme such as greetings, work-related vocabulary, or social interaction. Students actively participate through guided speaking tasks and comprehension exercises that build confidence and fluency.

What sets me apart is my ability to adapt lessons to each learner’s goals and background. Whether you’re a professional preparing to work in Sweden, a beginner passionate about Nordic culture, or an advanced learner refining pronunciation and idiomatic fluency. My lessons are designed for motivated adults who want to speak Swedish naturally, accurately, and confidently.
