About Johnson
I have worked as a teacher in a primary school and a personal tutor before gaining admission into the university to study Biology and Education. I am a teacher in training, I have done many educational courses in the past which have contributed to my intellectual development in many areas of teaching and teaching techniques. I am currently a student teacher presently undergoing a 6-month teaching practice in a secondary school as a Biology teacher.

My method of teaching is the lecture method and discussion method. But I sometimes change my method of teaching to any other method that I think would help the student understand what I will be teaching better. I sometimes use the discussion method if I think there would be a need for me and my student to interact and exchange views, opinions, or ideas for them to understand what I am teaching better. I always start my teaching by asking my student questions to check if any of them have an idea of what I am about to teach or remind them of the previous lesson if there is a need to do that. I proceed by stating my instructional objective and what they are expected to learn at the end of the lesson and I move on to teaching. I go to class with my instructional material which helps my student to have a better understanding of the topic and show it to them during teaching. I evaluate at the end of the class to confirm if the student understands what I taught them and I give assignments.
