About Suzanne
I am someone who struggled with math and science in middle school and high school. If I didn't seek out help in the beginning, I wouldn't have been able to become the scientist I am today! I truly believe that math and science are subjects that you have to directly engage with to succeed. This direct collaboration is what I hope to provide for my students.
I am recently graduated from UC Santa Cruz and have had great success in my classes and labs. I also currently work in a biology lab and would love to talk about careers in science.

-My teaching methods are very collaborative. The tutoring sessions are ideal for a student who needs an approachable lesson plan that can be matched to their learning style.
-A typical lesson plan will be centered around explaining concepts that may need further clarification and homework help.
-At the high school and the middle school level, I needed to utilize tutoring programs to help me succeed. From personal experience, I understand that not all students learn the same. Therefore, I utilize many different teaching approaches that proved successful for myself to get through college with two STEM degrees.
-My specialty is in Chemistry and would be able to tutor up to the college level.
