About Joanna
I’m a neuroscience graduate with hands-on experience as a teaching assistant. Having sought out extra tutoring for Chemistry during my A-levels I know how helpful it is to have someone explain concepts 1:1 - but also realise how difficult it can be to find a good tutor! My background has equipped me with a deep understanding of how people learn, allowing me to tailor each lesson to the individual needs of my students. With my blend of academic expertise and practical teaching experience, I’m committed to helping students not only improve their grades but also build lasting confidence in their abilities. I focus on making complex subjects within the Sciences approachable and engaging. Lessons typically last about an hour and are tailored to each student’s needs. We’ll review past material, dive into new concepts, and practice to ensure understanding—all while keeping it interactive and encouraging questions.
