About Philip
Hi, I'm Philip! I am currently an MSc Translational Neuroscience student at Imperial College London, holding a BSc in Psychology. Having completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma myself, I understand the pressure students face and exactly how to navigate the curriculum to get top marks. I take my role as a tutor seriously, preparing thoroughly while adapting to each student's unique learning style. Outside of the library, I play volleyball and a bit of chess. I aim to make our lessons engaging and practical. I want to help you not just memorise the syllabus, but actually understand the logic behind it, making the exams much easier to handle.

Study smarter, not harder. My lessons focus on clarity and exam technique. Because understanding what the examiners want is only half the battle. I break down complex Psychological and Statistical concepts into simple, logical steps tailored to your specific learning style. Who is this for? A-Level & IB Students: Focusing on Psychology, Neuroscience, and the specific demands of the IB curriculum (I’m an IB grad!). Format: Online (via Teams/Meet). Duration: Typically 60 minutes (flexible based on your needs). These can be some of the hardest exams of your life, but I'll be there to break them down step-by-step. As an Imperial College Master's student, I bring academic rigour mixed with a friendly, supportive approach. My goal is to boost your confidence, and the grades will follow! :)
