About Jay

I’m a director, movement coordinator and ultimately huge fan of theater. Working with Kapa Haka and my time at SGCNZ gave me a strong lens to look at the American approach to Theater. I love expanding what is in my toolbox, actively following courses in lighting and set design, intimacy and fight coordination, and modern playwriting. Always looking to learn more about myself and how the shape of theater will change in the years to come.

About the lesson

Multi-faceted approach, working in many different vocabularies, with understanding to give you multiple ways to approach and start engaging with material widely used around the world. An in depth understanding of the cultural role of Theatre is crucial nowadays. Targeted for those about to look towards university or propel their co-curricular activity to the next level.
