About Joyce

As a graduate in Biomedical Science, I have a strong Science background, and my experience working as a Teacher in a secondary school has given me a deep understanding of the Science GCSE curriculum for Chemistry, Physics and Biology. In my lessons, I frequently break down complex concepts clearly to help students build their knowledge. I have experience working as a teaching assistant, which has equipped me with the skills to effectively support SEND students and provide tailored tutoring services to meet their individual needs.

About the lesson

My Approach to Tutoring: -My approach towards tutoring is to frequently recall prior knowledge and ensure it is secure. - We will focus our lessons on subjects that students find particularly challenging - Students will be provided with exam-style questions, and given strategies to answer them effectively - Students will be provided with resources for their own independent revision. Length of lessons Lessons will last 1 hour Lessons are for students aged 11-16
