About Ali
I'm Ali. I help students make sense of circuits, signals and control systems by connecting equations to what the system actually does. My academic background is in Aerospace Engineering at the Institute of Space Technology in Pakistan, where modeling, instrumentation and feedback connect these subjects. My work with control systems and MATLAB/Simulink helps me connect mathematical models with system behavior and make results easier to examine. In lessons, we identify the unknowns, choose a method and check each important step. You practice the reasoning yourself, with guidance when you need it. Bring a basic question, an unfinished calculation or a simulation you cannot yet explain. I teach in English online from Pakistan, with lessons available to students in New York and across the United States.

Unsure how to set up circuit equations, interpret a signal or explain a control-system response? Bring the question and what you have tried. We identify the missing concept, practice a method and check whether the result makes sense. Lessons primarily suit college and university engineering students and technical diploma learners.
Circuit Analysis and Electrical Principles: Ohm's and Kirchhoff's laws, nodal and mesh analysis, superposition, Thevenin and Norton equivalents, power, phasors and impedance. We can work through RC, RL and RLC circuits, transients and steady-state behavior.
Electronics and Digital Systems: component behavior, simple circuit interpretation, truth tables, Boolean algebra, Karnaugh maps, combinational logic, flip-flops and introductory sequential circuits.
Signals and Systems / Digital Signal Processing: time- and frequency-domain reasoning, Laplace and Z transforms, sampling and discrete-time systems. Selected interpolation, decimation, multirate processing and filterbank questions are agreed from your module materials.
Control Systems: feedback, transfer functions, block diagrams, time response, stability, Bode plots and PID control. MATLAB and Simulink can help us plot responses, troubleshoot models and compare calculations with simulations.
Instrumentation, mechatronics and introductory robotics: selected sensor, actuator, motor and system-integration questions. Share your board, circuit diagram, components and software before booking so I can confirm the task. Relevant mathematics and project code are explained within the problem.
For assignments and projects, we review your attempt and develop your understanding; you create and remain responsible for your own submission. Exam or resit preparation uses representative questions and clear written working.
In the first lesson, we focus on one difficulty, try a related step and set a practice target. Send your module, a question or screenshot, any deadline, and preferred times in New York time (Eastern Time). Related electrical and electronic engineering topics are welcome.

I’m the sort of person who asks a question, gets an answer, and immediately comes up with three more questions. Ali was happy to discuss those, but he also knew when to bring us back to the problem we were supposed to be solving.
There was one point where I’d confidently used an equation without really knowing why it belonged there. Instead of just crossing it out, he asked me to explain my choice. Halfway through my explanation, I realised the problem myself. Slightly humbling, admittedly, but I remembered it afterwards.I never felt embarrassed about asking him to explain something again. That made more difference to me than I expected.
A technically useful explanation should make its assumptions visible. Ali was careful about this. When we discussed a method, he explained the conditions under which it applied and how we could check the result. I also found him receptive to questions about alternative approaches. His manner is approachable, but the discussion remains focused on the work.
Ali explains things properly. He doesn’t assume that because you followed the example, you can now solve every question yourself. We went back over the part where I was getting stuck, and I had a chance to try again. That was what I needed.
I know Ali as the person who helped me go from being stuck in coding basics to writing working programs confidently. His style is very hands on, he makes you write code, debug it properly, and understand logic, not just copy solutions. We covered computer programming with Python and C++, plus HTML basics and MATLAB for engineering style problem solving, and he always kept the sessions clear and goal focused. I recommend Ali because he is reliable, patient, and very professional, and his programming methodology makes online lessons feel organized and productive.
I know Ali through our engineering and aerospace study circle, and I have seen his teaching methodology up close. He explains aeronautics and mechanical engineering with a structured, step by step approach, then connects it to real applications like flight dynamics, control systems, and automatic systems, so it actually makes sense instead of feeling like theory. He is consistent, punctual, and serious about student progress, he keeps sessions interactive, checks understanding, and fixes weak points fast. I recommend Ali on Superprof because he is genuinely trustworthy, technically strong, and he teaches engineering in a practical way that helps students perform.
