About Janet
For over thirty years I have worked internationally in adult education, and for the last fifteen years specifically in English for adults.
I have had wide experience in teaching:
- Business English in major global companies,
- Academic English at two universities in Germany,
- English for medical professionals.
The Covid 19 lockdown gave people the opportunity to discover the potential in online tutoring, how flexible we can be and how we can meet the needs of the individual learner.

It is always exciting for me to meet new students, discover where they are at, and then help them to move forward from there.
Adults at all levels of English are welcome!
The great advantage of one-on-one online teaching is that we can tailor the learning to meet each person's particular needs and goals. So my first suggestion is a 45-minute session with a strong focus on speaking - but we can be flexible about both the time and the focus; this is YOUR lesson.
