I am a secondary school student and recently completed my GCSEs.

Outside school I am very passionate about science and my dream is to become a doctor.
I feel that many people have the ability to surpass me in science, but are simply not lucky enough to have been shown HOW to learn and revise science subjects. Imagine how many potential geniuses we lose, because they don’t know how to study. Imagine the disease we could cure and the disasters we could prevent.

- I am good at explaining things in an easy-to-understand way and ensuring long-term retention of knowledge.
- I can help students gain studying and learning skills that can help them eventually excel WITHOUT my help.
- As a science tutor, I believe that the key to success in many areas is a scientific approach: using evidence to tackle problems. As a result, all my tutoring is based on techniques that have been statistically proven to help students, e.g. flashcards, diagrams, mind maps, analogies.
- My lessons are also based on feedback, which keeps students engaged, making them more likely to remember the topics we cover.
- You never stop learning, so I try to learn from every lesson I have with a student. Everybody is different, and I have the flexibility required to adapt my teaching style to the needs of any student.
