About Nagaad
Hi! My name is Nagaad, and I’m an Ottawa-based tutor who genuinely loves helping students discover that subjects they once found difficult can actually become enjoyable and manageable.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science with a minor in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Anatomical Sciences Education, both from the University of Ottawa. I’ve been involved in education for over a decade, beginning as a Kumon Instructor from 2014–2020, and I’ve provided personalized tutoring since 2018.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with learners from elementary school all the way through university and professional education. I’ve recently taught medical students at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine, which has been especially rewarding.
Outside of my academic background, I’m a very patient, encouraging, and approachable person. I understand that everyone learns differently, and I never want a student to feel embarrassed about asking a question or saying, “I don’t understand.” Those moments are exactly where learning begins!

I have been working in education for over a decade. From 2014–2020, I worked as a Kumon Instructor, supporting learners in Mathematics and English while developing a strong foundation in individualized instruction. Since 2018, I have also provided personalized 1-on-1 tutoring in Mathematics, English, Science, Chemistry, and Biology, helping learners strengthen their understanding, confidence, and academic performance.
My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science with a minor in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Anatomical Sciences Education, both obtained from the University of Ottawa. This combination of scientific knowledge, psychology, and formal education training allows me to break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps while adapting lessons to each learner’s individual needs and learning style.
