About Rima

I have an MFA from the US in photography and fine art. As a lecturer overseas and in South Africa, I have inspired many students to find their voice through the medium of photography. Passion and insight is my voice

About the lesson

True vision is not always easy to achieve, therefore I believe in a continuous critique of students' work, re-photographing often to get to what someone is trying to say. I also teach all levels and many different photographic genres.

I met Rima more than 10 years ago at a college where she was lecturing photography. During that time I was impressed with her knowledge but later learnt she had a Master's Degree in fine art photography which she obtained in the USA. She displayed a great level of professionalism and knowledge that impressed me. Rima is passionate about her love of photography which was evident in all she taught. She is cheerful and always willing to help others. I can without a doubt highly recommend Rima as a great lecturer!
