About Ed
I am a young tutor with a wide range of interests, and I enjoy spreading and imparting knowledge. I have taught extensively, both one-on-one and to larger groups, and I find it very rewarding.
I have acquired a plethora of knowledge and skills through trial and error at school and university, and I wish to impart what I learned.
I also love watching young people grow in confidence, learn how to express their ideas clearly, and apply their thinking to problems.

I teach using a varied and interactive approach, involving diagrams and engaging questions and tasks which support understanding and retention.
Rather than lecturing the student, I guide them towards the answer, making sure they're figuring out the steps along the way.
I also teach exam technique, along with tips and tricks to get the best results.
I have 2 years of experience teaching in primary and secondary schools, along with 4 years of university level studying.
I teach GCSE and A-level biology and chemistry, as well as KS2 science.
