About Hizkia
I am an engineering undergraduate at Oxford University. Having achieved perfect score for my A Levels, I went on to tutor Maths and Physics, up to A-Level equivalent, for 5 months before university. I would love to tutor online and face-to-face, though the latter would have to be in Oxford area.

During my stint as a 1-to-1 tutor, I made handwritten notes while simultaneously explaining the concepts verbally. I felt that this was very effective as it keeps the student attentive, as compared to if I had given a printed handout.
My teaching method depends entirely on the topic in hand, as well as my student's preferrences. For Maths, I tend to break a topic down into many smaller concepts or formulas, testing the student with a few example questions along the way. For most Physics topics, I like to tackle the each topic as if it is one big network of interconnected concepts. This is because Physics is much less abstract than Maths and I want my student to understand the bigger picture and significance of all the concepts before doing the grunt formula-jotting and calculations in the example questions.
