About Padmanav
Hi, I’m Paddy, an MSc Physics student at QMUL. I love physics because it explains how the world works: from everyday phenomena to the workings of the universe. My goal is to share that curiosity and clarity with students, helping them understand concepts intuitively rather than just memorising formulas. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s learning style, combining concept explanation, problem-solving, and practice exercises. Lessons typically follow a simple structure: diagnosing where the student is, clarifying concepts, and reinforcing learning through guided practice. Homework and progress tracking ensure improvement is measurable. With Master’s-level physics knowledge, I make GCSE and A-level topics approachable. Coding, Python, physics simulations, and LaTeX support are also available. Familiarity with AQA and Edexcel exam boards means students get both content understanding and exam technique guidance. A free introductory lesson lets students see if we’re a good fit. Together, physics can become not just understandable, but exciting, building both confidence and skills for success.
Last year, I helped mentor a foundational year student through the university's buddy scheme. He is now a full time bachelor student. While I cannot take credit for his success, I do believe that I had a positive impact on him.

I believe the best way to learn is through practice, and while most of this is done by the student, it’s crucial to start on the right foot. I’ll be with you every step of the way to help you succeed, tailoring each lesson to your learning style. Lessons typically include diagnosing where you are, clarifying concepts, and guided practice, with homework and progress tracking to ensure measurable improvement. I’m currently a graduate physics student and passionate about helping others develop confidence and skill in their studies. I can also support Python, coding exercises, physics simulations, and LaTeX for coursework or assignments.
