About Morenike
I am a passionate and dedicated music educator with experience teaching children and teens how to understand and enjoy music. With a strong foundation in violin and music theory, I focus on helping students build confidence, discipline, and expressive skills through structured yet engaging lessons.
Beyond teaching, I am actively involved in music and arts education, contributing to curriculum development and student performances. My goal is not just to teach music, but to inspire a lifelong love for it while helping each student reach their full potential.

My approach to teaching music is centered on simplicity, consistency, and confidence-building. I believe every student can learn music when it is broken down in a way that is engaging, relatable, and practical.
I use a student-centered approach, adapting each lesson to the learner’s pace, age, and goals. I combine:
Practical playing with clear step-by-step guidance
Music theory taught in a simple and relatable way
Repetition and reinforcement for mastery
Interactive exercises, games (for younger learners), and real music pieces
Encouragement and constructive feedback to build confidence
Each lesson is structured but flexible:
1. Warm-up (scales, tone exercises, or rhythm drills)
2. Review of previous lesson and assignments
3. Introduction of a new concept or technique
4. Guided practice (playing or theory application)
5. Performance practice and corrections
6. Assignment and goals for the next lesson
I make music easy to understand, even for complete beginners
I focus not just on playing, but on confidence and expression
I have experience teaching children and teens, so I know how to keep lessons engaging
I track student progress and celebrate growth milestones
I blend discipline with creativity, so students enjoy learning while improving
my lessons are for
Beginners to intermediate students
Children (from about age 5), teens, and adult beginners
Students preparing for school performances or personal development
Anyone interested in learning violin and foundational music theory
Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to improve, my lessons are designed to help you grow steadily and enjoy the journey of making music

Miss Morenny is such an awesome teacher. Her music classes are fun and enlightening. I've learned how to sight-read with her, and I'm looking forward to playing in my first concert.
