About Mahima
Hello! I am a dedicated and enthusiastic educator with a Bachelor of Education degree, specializing in Commerce and Mathematics, along with a Master’s degree in Commerce (Accounting and Taxation). My academic background, combined with over 10 years of one-on-one tutoring experience, has equipped me with the skills to support students effectively across different learning levels, particularly from Grades 2 to 10.
Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked closely with students in personalized learning environments, which has helped me understand the importance of adapting lessons to suit each student’s pace and learning style. I strongly believe that a solid foundation is key to long-term success, and I focus on helping students build clarity in concepts rather than relying on memorization.
One of the values I carry into my teaching comes from my own experience as a student—having teachers who were always open to questions and ready to guide me made a significant difference in my learning. I strive to create that same environment for my students, where they feel comfortable asking doubts, engaging actively, and learning with confidence.

My teaching approach is centered on building strong conceptual understanding in a supportive and engaging environment. I focus on explaining topics in a simple, structured, and clear manner using real-life examples and step-by-step methods, ensuring that students truly understand the subject rather than relying on memorization.
I adapt my teaching techniques based on each student’s individual pace and learning style, making the learning process more effective and comfortable. I encourage students to ask questions freely and actively participate during sessions, as I believe interaction plays a key role in deeper understanding.
A typical class follows a well-structured format: introduction of the concept, clear explanation, guided problem-solving, and practice. After each concept, students work through relevant questions to assess their understanding, and I provide targeted support to strengthen any areas of difficulty. This approach helps improve accuracy, confidence, and problem-solving skills over time.
One of my key strengths as a teacher is creating a positive and approachable learning environment, where students feel comfortable expressing doubts and learning at their own pace.
My classes are best suited for school students, particularly those in Grades 2 to 10, who are looking to strengthen their fundamentals, improve understanding, and gain confidence in their studies.
