About Maira
Hello! I'm Maira, a passionate university student with a lifelong dedication to tutoring. From a young age, I found joy in helping my family and neighbours—ranging from ages 5 to 16—understand and excel in their studies. This informal experience has honed my ability to simplify complex topics and adapt explanations to diverse learning styles. Currently, as a university student, I continue to nurture this passion by providing personalised tutoring sessions that focus on building confidence and making learning enjoyable. I believe every student has unique strengths, and my goal is to unlock their potential through tailored lessons that resonate with them. As someone who was once in my students' shoes, I can understand the stress of studying certain subjects and just not understanding it no matter how hard I focus. As a dedicated tutor, I focus on building students' confidence by tailoring lessons to their individual needs and learning styles. I believe that every student has the potential to grasp challenging concepts when they are presented in an accessible and engaging manner.
