About Daisy
I'm currently living in Manchester but I used to live in Paris; the City of Light and croissants!
I've studied French since primary school and have a real passion for it. I have language GCSEs in French, Spanish, and Latin, and an A-level in French. I studied a variety of subjects for my Levels, so I have a broad understanding - we might have some interests in common!
I love the outdoors and spending as much time as possible in nature. I have lots of involvement with conservation programmes in the Yorkshire Dales, where grew up. I also love music, tea and cats.

I have experience as a classroom assistant for GCSE students taking French and I have taught English to French children. I understand how the UK curriculum works for learning French - I've experienced it myself!
Alternatively, if you are looking to improve your skills outside of exams I'm here for you too.
When I teach you, I'll work with you to find the best way for you to engage in the learning. It doesn't have to be like school! If book based learning doesn't work for you that is 100% okay, and if it's what you prefer that's also fine. I've got you covered.
My level of fluency skyrocketed during my time in Paris. I believe the best way to learn a language is to immerse yourself in the country's culture. So I will help you involve yourself in French culture, cuisine, music, sports, politics, and mindset! Avec plaisir.
I can help you with your French accent; we can focus on oral and conversation practice. I can also help you with aural (listening). I can support you with developing your writing skills and translation.
I really believe I can help you learn understand and explore the French language like a native.
