About Divine
I’m a medical student with a strong academic background, having achieved distinctions in Maths, English, Afrikaans, Life Sciences and Business Studies in Matric. I have experience teaching and tutoring learners aged 3–13 across academics, coding and robotics, as well as supporting neurodivergent learners with different learning styles. Teaching is incredibly rewarding to me because I love helping learners go from feeling unsure or overwhelmed to feeling confident and capable. Having needed a tutor myself, I understand the importance of finding someone you can trust, and I aim to be that person; offering patient, personalised support that makes learning feel less intimidating and more enjoyable, while helping learners become more confident and independent.

Each lesson is tailored to the learner’s individual needs, level and goals. We’ll begin by identifying areas that need attention, then work through concepts using clear explanations, visual learning, examples and guided practice. I encourage students to actively participate rather than simply listen, and I use questions, past papers and exam-style practice where appropriate.
