In my science tutoring sessions, I adopt a hands-on and inquiry-based approach that encourages curiosity and critical thinking. I utilize a mix of interactive experiments, multimedia resources, and real-world examples to help students grasp complex concepts. This method not only enhances understanding but also fosters a genuine interest in the subject.
Lessons typically last for 60 minutes, providing ample time to delve into topics, conduct experiments, and address any questions. With over 10 years of experience tutoring students from Year 0 through university level, I have developed effective strategies for a range of learning styles.
I cater to various curricula, including NCEA, Cambridge, and IB, making my lessons suitable for students of all ages and academic backgrounds. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging environment where each student can thrive and achieve their academic goals in science.
