What Vietnamese experience do you have?
- Fluent in Vietnamese, spoken at home with my family
- Taught Vietnamese at the Vietnamese Pastoral Centre
Teaching experience:
- 6 years of tutoring children and adults, in Vietnamese, piano and maths
- Previously an academic tutor at Explore Learning
- 100% ABRSM pass rate with my piano students, 40+ exam passes to date

How long is each lesson?
- Lessons can vary between 30 minutes - 2 hours, depending on the student's age, level and preference.
How are lessons conducted?
- Every lesson focuses on improving real communication, so you can use Vietnamese in day to day life whenever you need it
- We build understanding across speaking, listening, reading and writing, so the language feels natural rather than memorised
- Pronunciation and tones, the part most learners find hardest, are broken down step by step
- Younger children learn through games, songs and picture cards, while adults focus on real conversations they'll actually use
- I set short, manageable practice between lessons, then give constructive, positive feedback the following week
- I focus on building a genuine relationship with students and parents, which creates a comfortable, open environment and helps us reach goals together (and QUICKLY :))

Khai has taught my brother of 7 in the past, and has given a very enjoyable experience for the boy. He is patient and is very considerate of his students to create a comfortable working environment.
Khai teaches my 9 year old younger brother Piano at his home. He is extremely Polite and even offered me Food or drink before the lesson had started. He is an extremely competent teacher and my brother always seems very comfortable with Khai whilst making clear, progress every time we visit him . Keep it up Khai !
Khai currently teaches my 7 year old daughter and 13 year old son piano, once a week. My children seem to really look forward to his lessons as opposed to their last teacher! Khai always teaches an enjoyable lesson every week , and is a very polite young man. He is extremely patient with the little ones and always somehow manages to teach them something new every week. He offers great hospitality to myself and the kids and I would definitely recommend him as a Fantastic Piano Teacher and a very Lovely Person.
