About Monica
Hi, I’m Monica, a university student currently studying Accounting and Finance with a genuine passion for mathematics. Before starting my degree, I completed a Foundation Year in Engineering, where I developed a strong mathematical foundation through problem-solving, analytical thinking, algebra, and other mathematical concepts.
Throughout my studies, I have continued to use maths regularly, which has strengthened both my understanding of the subject and my ability to explain concepts clearly. I enjoy helping others learn and have spent many years supporting my younger brother with maths throughout his school education. This experience has taught me the importance of patience, encouragement, and adapting explanations to suit different learning styles.
I believe every student can succeed in maths with the right support and approach. My goal is to create a friendly, supportive, and relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. Whether you need help with homework, revision, exam preparation, or understanding difficult topics, I will tailor lessons to suit your individual needs and learning style.
I teach KS3 and GCSE students online and aim not only to improve grades but also to help students develop a stronger understanding and appreciation of mathematics.

I am currently studying Accounting and Finance at university and have a strong passion for mathematics. Through my degree, I regularly use mathematical and analytical skills, which helps me explain concepts clearly and practically. My aim is to help students build confidence, improve their understanding, and achieve their academic goals in a supportive learning environment.
