About Tammy
Hi, I’m Tammy, a Penn State nursing student who genuinely enjoys helping students feel confident in math and science. I maintain a 3.7 GPA and have earned Dean’s List recognition, and I bring patience, kindness, and clear communication to every lesson. Through my experience as a peer mentor and student nurse, I’ve learned how encouragement and understanding make a real difference in learning. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy staying active through sports, traveling, and keeping my mind sharp with the New York Times daily puzzles. I strive to create a supportive, welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and growing at their own pace.
