About Steven

I am a professional performing musician, music educator and music producer. I have been performing on my instrument for over 12 years. In 2015 I graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music with my Masters degree in jazz guitar performance. In 2016 I was selected as one of 10 guitarists from around the world to participate in the Montreux (Switzerland) Jazz Guitar Competition.

About the lesson

I grew up in a family of teachers and one of the most important things I learned was that every student is different and therefore my teaching methods need to adapt to what is best for them, as opposed to expecting the student to fit a mold I have set for them.

Steve is talented, hardworking, and passionate about what he does. With decades of experience, Steve teaches you the fundamentals of guitar in a fun yet detailed manner. He also teaches you songs you’ve been trying to learn. This helps as motivation for showing progress and it helped me understand how much I learned from him. Thanks Steve!

Steve Bilodeau was an awesome instructor. We did weekly or bi-weekly lessons for about a year and covered the basics of jazz guitar scales, chords, and theory. Professional dude, great guitar player and an expert at his craft.
