About Afshin

Thank you for looking at my profile. I am a native Persian (Farsi) speaker with more than 18 years of teaching experience. I am also a Persian-English translator, and I translated and published several psychology and self-help books from English to Persian. I believe teaching is the best way of learning. That’s why I have been teaching Persian and English (both online and face-to-face) for more than 18 years in different countries to students of different nationalities with different learning backgrounds and goals. The experience of teaching a highly diverse student body has played a significant role in my teaching career. It improved my ability to think, learn and interact with people from other cultures, and I learned how to deal with students of various backgrounds. All that helped me to learn how to adapt my teaching methodology and style to my audience. Contact me if you are willing to improve your Persian. Book a trial lesson so we can discuss your goals. I will develop lessons specifically made for you.

About the lesson

I believe the best lesson plan is the one that has been made based on the student’s level, interests, goals, timeline, and needs. Thus, my teaching style is very personable and flexible. I use a conversational and interactive method of teaching through documentaries, video clips, and movies. In addition, we will do also some reading, and grammar lessons as needed. It all depends on your level and what you want to learn, let me know and I will make you a personalized lesson plan.
