About Muriel

I trained for 3 years at Acting International from 2012 to 2015. I was also trained at Compagnie Azot for the year 2019-2020 in the method of Michael Chekhov which I particularly love and which directs the way I approach acting. I continue practicing the exploration of this method with a group of actors every week. I started directing actors alongside my fellow actors who needed help with their castings. Then over the course of my meetings and the pleasure taken in directing other actors, I had the opportunity to work for different organizations (national education, training center for models, theatral companies) and individuals for adolescents and adults audiences, amateurs and professionals. I see the actor as a creator and my directions are guidelines to get you what YOU want and love to do with your text. The actor is an artist in his own right and the sole master of his creation. The public takes pleasure in seeing him have fun !

About the lesson

I base my directions on the needs of the person in front of me, drawing from the many exercises I know and my experience as an actress and with other actors. I have a preference for the approach proposed by Michael Chekhov, which is an organic, playful, non-judgmental form of play based on the power of our imagination and its remarkable effects on our body and our sensations. Sometimes the path will be in the other direction: freeing the body to access the imagination. I am therefore building this coaching from you, from the artist that you are and who only asks to express himself more freely and fully !
