About Antra
Hi! I’m Antra, a final-year Computer Science student at The University of Queensland with a strong academic background in Mathematics. I genuinely enjoy teaching Maths and helping students turn difficult or confusing concepts into something they can understand and feel confident with. I work with school students across different year levels and adapt my teaching style to each student’s pace, strengths and areas they need help with. My focus is not just on getting the right answer, but on helping students understand why a method works so they can apply it independently in exams and assignments. Whether you need help catching up, preparing for an exam, improving your grades, or building stronger foundations in Maths, I’d be happy to help!

My lessons are personalised around each student and what they are currently learning at school. We can work through difficult concepts, homework and assignments, practise exam-style questions, or strengthen topics where you may be falling behind. I explain concepts step-by-step and use examples before gradually moving to questions the student can solve independently. I also focus on identifying where mistakes are coming from, rather than simply correcting answers. This helps students develop stronger problem-solving skills and avoid repeating the same mistakes. Lessons are friendly and interactive, and students are always encouraged to ask questions, even if they think the question is “too basic”. My goal is for students to leave each lesson understanding the topic better and feeling more confident in Maths.
