About Mikayla

I have been an educator and child care worker for five years. I have taught theatre and have tutored students with writing, reading comprehension, grammar, and spelling. I have worked in schools and in an online environment and have a passion and dedication to learning.

About the lesson

Education should be exciting. It is one of the most important assets that a person can possess. I believe that every student, regardless of their sex, race, sexual orientation, and economic background deserves a quality education from teachers who care. My lessons are designed to engage students, they are quick-paced and engaging. I think it is important for students to learn through a variety of different modes--listening, writing, presenting, reading, moving, and pretending. If a lesson plan is engaging, students are more likely to learn more and associate education with positivity.
