About Elliott
I obtained my PhD in 2023 in chemical engineering, specialising in non-Newtonian fluid dynamics. I have absolutely loved teaching throughout my postgraduate studies both in university and privately. Unfortunately, I no longer get the opportunity to teach as a postdoctoral researcher, so I'm focusing my passion into private tutoring. I have been privately tutoring for 5 years, aiding multiple GCSE and A-level students to achieve grade 7-9 or A-A*, as well as university students firsts.

I take a personalised approach for each student, starting with a free assessment of abilities. Early in the term, we'll start each lesson reviewing the content recently covered in school to reinforce learning, followed by supported problem-solving. Each week, we'll review your strengths and weaknesses, in order to tailor your coming lessons. As you approach a test, we'll focus on the weakest content and strengthen these areas.
