About Lisa
My background spans professional education, linguistics, and applied communication training, with over 15 years of experience teaching complex skills to diverse learners. I have worked extensively with multilingual adults in Australia, Asia, South America and Europe, specializing in spoken English clarity for professional contexts. I am currently completing a PhD in linguistics, with a focus on phonetics and phonology, and lecture in linguistics and speech pathology programs at university level. In my teaching, I apply linguistic analysis to help speakers improve pronunciation, rhythm, and intelligibility in real-world communication.

They are designed for multilingual adults who speak English fluently but are not consistently understood in meetings or one-to-one workplace interactions.
Each lesson is highly targeted. A brief speech analysis identifies the specific features affecting clarity, followed by structured practice and precise feedback. The aim is clearer, more confident speech, rather than accent reduction.
Sessions are 60 minutes, online, and suited to working professionals and advanced adult learners.
