About Samuel
My name is Sam and I am a first year PhD Student. Graduated in 2019 from University of Southampton and now working towards my PhD at the University of Bath. Studies Psychology, Maths, Biology and Chemistry at A-Level and Chemistry at Undergraduate. Completed a year-long industrial placement at AstraZeneca in Sweden.

Teaching is about being comfortable. I will do my absolute best to base lessons around that specific pupils learning techniques. Problem solving and application of knowledge is key and will be introduced early in all teaching. There will be reinforcement to begin every session and minimal homework to maintain work/life balance.

I watched Sam go from strength to strength at uni and he is now one of the most impressive graduates I know. He is also a close friend of mine and so I can say from experience (having asked him a number of stupid questions about science over the years) that he is a patient, supportive and highly effective teacher.
Sam is a very kind and hardworking student who tutored me throughout my Chemistry undergraduate degree, helping me to secure a 2:1!! He took time and care to ensure that I understood everything, and was extremely patient even when he had to explain certain topics multiple times. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who requires help in any field of Chemistry.
