About Dr Chandra P
I’m Dr. Chandra P. Joshi, a PhD-trained Engineering Physics mentor with more than ten years of experience supporting students and professionals in engineering, physics, mathematics, AI, programming, and data science. I have worked with high school students, undergraduate and graduate engineers, FE exam candidates, research students, and professionals preparing for technical interviews and advanced projects.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and highly focused on building long-term understanding and confidence. I believe students learn best when difficult concepts are explained clearly, step-by-step, with both intuition and technical rigor. Many students come to me feeling overwhelmed or stuck in demanding STEM courses, and my goal is to help them rebuild confidence while mastering the material in a calm and organized way.
I am known for preparing detailed lesson materials, simplifying advanced concepts, and adapting explanations to each student’s learning style and goals. Whether the focus is exam preparation, graduate coursework, research mentoring, MATLAB, simulations, technical communication, or engineering problem-solving, I work closely with students to help them progress efficiently and independently.

I’m Dr. Chandra P. Joshi, and I specialize in helping engineering, physics, AI, mathematics, and data science students understand difficult technical concepts in a clear, structured, and confidence-building way. My teaching approach focuses on breaking complex problems into manageable steps while also helping students understand the deeper intuition behind the mathematics and engineering principles involved.
A typical lesson begins with identifying where the student feels stuck, followed by a structured walkthrough of the concepts, equations, problem-solving methods, and practical applications. I prepare organized notes, diagrams, worked examples, and step-by-step explanations so students can continue learning independently after the session. I also focus heavily on exam strategy, technical communication, debugging methods, and long-term understanding rather than memorization alone.
What sets me apart is my ability to simplify advanced graduate-level material while still maintaining technical depth and rigor. Many of my students come to me feeling overwhelmed, behind in coursework, or lacking confidence after struggling repeatedly in demanding engineering and STEM courses. I work patiently with students to rebuild both conceptual understanding and confidence.
