About Jenn
I have a BS in Chemistry from Virginia Tech earned in 2003. I then did a PhD at Caltech graduating in 2009. I did a postdoctoral Fellowship supported by the National Institutes of Health from 2009 to 2012. Then I started my independent career as a faculty member at Wayne State University in 2012. I was promoted with tenure in 2019 and in 2023. I moved into the pharmaceutical industry to apply the knowledge gained from my research program directly in the large-scale synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients.

I am an expert in the field, actively working at the forefront of pharmaceutical synthetic development. I have over a decade of teaching experience at the university level and have been tutoring in Chemistry since 2000. I’m really missing teaching lately, and sadly (for me) my nieces and nephews don’t seem to need my help!
