About Connie

Hi, My name is Connie Sun. You can call me Connie. I am a PhD graduate in Chinese Studies from the University of Manchester and currently based in Edinburgh, working in the education sector. During my doctoral studies, I taught Chinese at our local Chinese school, where I gained extensive teaching experience. Chinese is a beautiful language, and I hope to help more students appreciate its charm and, through the language, explore the richness and depth of Chinese culture.

About the lesson

For young learners, I use a relaxed and engaging teaching approach that combines learning with fun, helping children build interest and confidence in Chinese. Lessons are based on the People’s Education Press Chinese textbooks, ensuring a systematic and solid foundation.

For students with exam preparation or professional needs, I provide targeted training using GCSE, A Level, or HSK Chinese textbooks, focusing on the specific language skills and exam requirements to help learners achieve their goals efficiently.

Whether you are a beginner or looking to improve your overall Chinese proficiency, customised study plans are designed to match your goals, level, and learning pace, helping you learn Chinese efficiently and confidently.
