About Raquel
Hi there! My name is Raquel, I am a native speaker from Spain, but have been living in Ireland for over 6 years. I hold a MA in Linguistics and Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, and a PhD in Spanish. I have been teaching Spanish to students in Ireland and abroad for 7 years, including university level, private language schools, and one-on-one private lessons. My teaching philosophy is making language learning fun and rewarding for my students so they can continue to improve while enjoying the process.

My focus is to go beyond specific exam preparation or basic stock-phrase learning to make my students familiar with language learning techniques, improved study skills, and tailored learning strategies.
I offer you an entirely tailored learning experience: these are *your* grinds, and they need to adapt to your needs and goals. If you don’t have any previous experience, we’ll find out what method works best for you; if you’re a seasoned student, we’ll find new and exciting challenges to keep you motivated as you hone your skills.
