About Onyeka
Hello everyone! With over ten years of teaching mathematics and statistics, I've seen firsthand how challenging these subjects can be. That's why my mission as a PhD student at the Federal University of Lafia is to transform the learning experience. I use practical demonstrations and teaching aids to bring abstract ideas to life. In my classroom, we don't just solve problems; we actively engage with them through hands-on practice and interactive discussions. My teaching method and techniques involve practical demonstration of key concepts, use of teaching aids, interactive class sessions, hands-on practicals and examples, and also evaluation of students' understanding. Define and explain what is meant by a function II. solve mathematical problems involving functions III. Identify the types of functions Materials: Textbook, Charts, marker and board. Introduction: the tutor introduces the lessons by explaining introductory concepts like, Set, Set notation, Elements (members) of a set and so on. Presentation: Step1 Define and explain what is meant by a Function. A function is a set of rules that assigns to an element 'a' of set A, a unique element 'b' in set B. Step 2. Examples 1.
