About Gregor
Hi, I'm Gregor! I'm a PhD researcher in Law at King's College London, where I study international law and the ethics of war. Before that, I earned First Class Honours in both my BA in Philosophy (University of Birmingham) and my MA in Philosophy (King's College London).
I've been teaching since 2021, when I started running exam preparation courses in English and philosophy for secondary school students in the Netherlands. I love helping students build clear arguments, structure strong essays, and feel confident going into their exams.
Outside academia, I've captained a debate team (ranked among the top twenty debaters in the Netherlands), won national and university essay competitions, and served as a judge giving feedback on student essays.
I teach in both English and Dutch, and I adapt every lesson to the student's level and goals.

I like to teach my students by guiding them to realisations instead of memorisation. I do this by patiently clearing up any confusion, explaining relevant concepts and giving the student an active role in this process. Lessons typically last one hour. Lessons are for high school students, university undergrads or anyone who has a passion for such topics and wants to learn more.
