I use a student-centered approach, starting with an assessment of your needs and knowledge gaps. I prioritize clear explanations of technical terms and foster critical thinking through problem-solving exercises.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
• Introduction & Recap: Review previous material and clarify any doubts.
• New Content: Introduce concepts in a structured way, ensuring alignment with your coursework or research.
• Practice & Application: Work through practical exercises or discuss real-world applications to reinforce learning.
• Wrap-up & Feedback: Summarize key points and outline next steps, with personalized feedback on your progress.
What Sets Me Apart:
With a PhD in Computer Science and Software Engineering, combined with degrees in mathematics from Cuba and Bulgaria, I bring a rich, multicultural perspective to my teaching. I understand the challenges international students face when learning technical subjects in English and provide focused support in bridging those gaps. Whether you need help mastering coursework, or preparing course project presentations, I offer the expertise and encouragement needed to excel.
Who Are My Lessons For?
• International Students: Especially those facing challenges with English terminology in technical subjects.
Whether you’re struggling with coursework or need guidance in presenting your projects, I am here to help you succeed confidently.
