Overall I am friendly and approachable and help students through their mistakes and through finding the motivation to improve. Most of all, I try to make learning fun!
As your tutor, I will get to know you and what you enjoy. Get to know what your strengths and struggles are, and help you succeed by making the material more like what you are interested in investing your energy in.

I begin with getting an understand of the students' level and what motivates the student to do a good job.
I get an understanding of their textbooks and the approach their teachers take to teaching and try to harmonize my methods with their school's teaching objectives and style.
I have taught Logic, History, English and writing as well as math, chemistry, and biology. What I find most important is breaking the material down to its basics and making analogies between the material and what students like/what their hobbies are.
