About Isabella

I am a dedicated and patient tutor with a strong commitment to helping students reach their full potential. I pride myself on creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities.
With experience working with learners of different ages and levels, I understand that every student is unique. I take the time to get to know each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals, and I tailor my lessons accordingly. My teaching style is clear, structured, and engaging, ensuring that concepts are not only understood but retained.
I am highly organised, reliable, and professional in all aspects of my tutoring. I place great importance on clear communication, consistent progress, and measurable results. Whether a student needs help strengthening core skills, improving grades, or preparing for exams, I am committed to providing high-quality instruction and ongoing support.
My goal is not just academic improvement, but helping students develop confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, structured, and supportive. I believe that every learner understands material differently, so I adapt my teaching to match each student’s pace, goals, and preferred learning style. Lessons are interactive and focused on building confidence as well as mastery of the subject.

I break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps, using guided practice, real examples, and targeted exercises. I encourage questions and active participation, regularly reviewing progress and adjusting lessons as needed. I emphasise understanding why something works, not just memorisation.

Typical lessons are 60 minutes, which allows enough time for explanation, practice, and review. Shorter (30–45 min) or longer sessions are available depending on student needs.

I am a competent tutor, with 1.5 years of experience tutoring all ages up to and including GCSEs.
Proven track record of helping students improve grades, test scores, and confidence.
Patient, reliable, and skilled at explaining difficult concepts clearly.
Achieved 3 A* in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry A-level, and have gone on to study Physics and Astronomy at Durham University.
Achieved straight 9s in GCSE Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
DBS checked and on the update service.

Lessons are for students needing help in GCSE maths or sciences, and students needing help with A-level maths.
Ideal for homework help, exam preparation, skill-building, or enrichment.

Whether you’re looking to strengthen fundamentals, prepare for exams, or get ahead, my goal is to help you learn effectively and feel confident in your abilities.
