About Hermann
I am a physics student at the University of Vienna and I am currently at the beginning of my master’s program, in which I specialize in quantum information and quantum computing. Through my studies I could / had to develop a very good understanding of mathematics. This has enabled me to support high school students and high school graduates in mathematics and physics for 4 years now. In addition to private tutoring, I worked at LernQuadrat and held individual lessons and intensive courses in math for several students.

The aim of my lessons is that the student develops a basic understanding of the facts and does not use stubborn calculation methods. This requires good communication with the students in order to identify weaknesses and then deal with these topics in more detail. I try to cater to the individual needs of every student and design the lessons accordingly. Dealing with mistakes is an important part of my teaching. They are the most important feedback that the student receives while practicing and therefore have a special place in my units. Errors are by no means forbidden. By analyzing a mistake, the student can recognize connections and prevent their own mistakes. This approach helps reduce the constant frustration of studying math and physics. My lessons are aimed at all school levels and are particularly suitable for high school students and high school graduates in preparation. I am also very happy to help with the preparation for the medical admission or the like. Of course, if you are interested in quantum physics or other fields of physics, I will be happy to help you deepen your knowledge. Besonders an Hermann schätze ich seine ruhige, analytische Art - anstatt Stress zu verursachen und Druck zu erhöhen, versucht er zuerst die Ursache und dann kreative Lösungen für ein Problem zu finden - und das so gut wie immer mit größtem Erfolg.
