About Luke

I have been giving lessons since my sophomore year of college till now. I was a tutor at my university for 2 years and taught various high-level physics and mathematics courses. I also continued tutoring outside my university with Varsity Tutors (online/in-person tutoring service) for 4-5 months. Students I tutored have reported receiving a distribution of grades, ranging from A-C, with an average grade of B received.

About the lesson

College graduate with a BS in Physics from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia looking to help others in their understandings of difficult subjects such as physics and various levels of mathematics. I will review concepts of the subject that may not be clear or misunderstood and work towards a better overall clarity of the subject. This includes general review, practice problems, homework problems (optional), final questions/reinforcement discussion.

Coming from a chemistry background, it was tough for me to grasp the concepts of Physics that were being taught in my class. Here's where Luke helped me. He taught me all the basic concepts, he was patient, he knew where I would falter and guided me through all the pitfalls.
Luke is an accessible teacher and takes tutoring seriously, with his caring attitude and a clear sense of purpose I would highly recommend him as your next tutor.

Luke is a friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced tutor. I’ve recommended him to my younger sibling and many friends and relatives. He really knows his stuff, but beyond that, he is down to earth and excellent at explaining concepts in easy-to-understand terms. Sometimes I even go to him for help with my graduate courses because he’s just great at explaining things!
